Motor manual for dummies needed

I just paid the CP dealer $85 to change the fuel filter and $200 to change the fluid in the differential and transfer case. Can someone recommend a manual that will show me how to do it myself? Keep in mind, the last time I worked on an engine it had a carburetor, and power steering was an option.

The Chrysler service manual isn't written for dummies but most anyone can understand it. While they're expendsive the money you just spent for that work would have bought two of them. Order one here

Go to your local parts store and look at the Chilton types manuals, usually pretty good and reasonably priced. bg

I'd advise a Haynes manual over a chiltons. The service manual obviously is the best, but for just changing fluids and filters the Haynes is more then suitable.
