A few weeks ago I made my first post here asking for advice on how to set up my truck for mountian hauling and I was given a lot of great advice. I took all of your advice and mixed it with that given me from Reliance and came up with what you now see in my signature. WOW! I am impressed and delighted with the results. Oo. I was able to tow my 6k boat up through all of the grades along I-70 (Floyd Hill, Georgetown, Eisenhower, and Vail) with no difficulty at all. I was able to maintain 70mph without exceeding 1250 degrees in 6th. A Duramax with an empty 6 horse trailer passed by me once on the way back going up Vail, I figure he was traveling at about 75mph. I had a ton of peddle left and was tempted but decided to keep the heat down instead

Thanks again to you all :D

Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

Last weekend I went over Sonora Pass, E to W, with 5000 pounds in the bed. Part of that pass is a 26 % grade. I had to keep it in second for the steeper parts because it has many sharp turns and works out better that way. Got to love those mountain roads.
