Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) mounting a bhaf

i am getting a bhaf friday to replace my k&n. can someone tell me the best was to mount it and where is the best place to find a cold air intake box like the afe stage1. i want to use it with a bhaf. thanks for the help.

The BHAF will just lay on the fender. The AFE kit's heat shield wont work with the BHAF.

PM member BobV (he's on NWBombers too) I believe he may have a line on some BHAF heat shields like this.

If you get a turbo heat shield from fostertruck.com, most of the latent heat problem goes away... not all of course, but this is an easy fix, and I havent noticed any heat problems, even on a 100° day... look up an outerwears prefilter also, its good insurance. .
