Mounting Edge Comp in Ashtray

I know there have been a couple of approaches to this. The one I've seen most recently is this one:

I also saw another one where someone mounted their Comp on the top metal part of the ashtray area. Does anyone have a link to that? I tried to search for it, but was unsuccessful.

I'm the one who posted the comp in the top of the ashtray. It takes quite a bit of measuring and cutting. I used a dremmel tool to do most of the work on the astray. Here is the link to the pics of the finished install. I don't have any pics of the ashtray before installing it.

Glove Box Install

That’s a cool place to put it. Unfortunately, I had already put a Superlift TruSpeed Sensor Calibrator in my ashtray. So for anyone that uses their ashtray and desiring a somewhat stealth install, you can get an extension cable from PE and install it in the Glove Box.

What in the world is all that wiring down by where the shifter would be in a manuel?

There's a cover over the Airbag Control Module on auto trucks, that yellow connector connects to the ACM, he has the cover off.

If you are wondering what the other stuff is, I believe someone said in another post that it is robot puke. Just a mess of wires.

I still need to re-hook up my Comp, and I'll take pics of my ashtray as well, FWIW. I'll be hooking it up Wednesday.
