Moving 5th wheel hitch to 06

I will be moving my RBW hitch from my 2000 to the 2006. The hitch is bolted to horizontal steel flanges that are welded to the frame. I know that there is a TSB regarding this. Anyone know the proper way to attach the flanges?

Get a hold of RBW, they will likely have a support bracket kit for the '06's for your hitch that you'll need to purchase. The TSB discusses how to weld to the frame and where. DC's preference is that you bolt if possible.

I have the RBW hitch in mine and the trailer place had no problems mounting it in my truck

Did they weld brackets to the frame or use bolt on brackets to tie the hitch to the bed?
