Wow! I was hoping that the injectors wouldn't kill my gas mileage. Work commute 25% city and 75% country roads yielded around 19. 5 mpg. After injector and gauges install I got 21 mpg. For those who don't believe 333. 1 miles requiring 15. 8 gallons of gas to fill it up. Yes, I drove fairly easy trying to keep my boost at or below 5 lbs with my speed range 58 to 62 tops. Of course passing and rushing I exceeded 10 lbs but very seldom. This is amazing that something with so much power can get such good gas mileage. Had to tell someone!!! :D :D I am already worried about this truck wearing out and never being able to replace it with something so awesome. Those who are getting poor mileage don't feel bad my 99 never came close to this even with 40,000+ miles on it. I now have 11,000 miles on this one but have always got better mileage and had more power than my last Cummins.

Dean,

That info is good to hear, I am planning some similar mods on my ETH. Have you checked the mileage when driving a bit more aggressive? Just wondering if it works both ways-- better mpg if you behave, and much worse if you have fun!

Coming from GA to NC driving 72 - 75 I got 18. 9 mpg. Driving extremely hard checking to achieve max boost and egt I only got 14. 1 mpg which was only 59 miles with 4. 2 gallons. I filled up to check my mileage on my commute but all of those miles were with my foot to the floor. Max boost was 36 lbs and highest temp was 1250. Clutch seems to be holding too! I wonder if the boost and temp are normal for this setup. The BHAF must be keeping temps down but boost seems a little lower than what I have heard. I am extremely happy as you can tell!!!!

My boost is at 38#. My stock clutch was slipping at will with the Comp on level 1. If I left the box off and just drove with the DDIIs it would not slip as easy around town, once I would get on the interstate and tried to accelerate to much it would slip. I now have a Southbend Con OFE and it DOES NOT SLIP @ 383HP. Sam

Dean- Thanks for the further info, I really look forward to the upgrades.

Sam- 383HP? That is AWESOME! How is the driveability in 1st thru 3rd gears? NV5600 isn't exactly a quick shifting trans, seems that most of the gain is in the upper gears for towing and freeway "manuevers".

Beast2b,

Just finished another 447 miles. These were all hard miles! Everthing from pulling my 5K boat 110 miles while testing the new found power, to trying to start something with a chevy gasser. I was extremely hard on the truck which is highly unusual for me but the acceleration is incredible. :D Can't get enough!!!! Anyway even after that I went 447 miles it took 26. 50 gallons of gas yielding 16. 86 mpg. I consider this great considering the way I was driving. Just thought I would share the latest. You are going to LOVE IT! Planning on putting steps on my truck tomorrow. Lets see, whats next to get me up there with Sam (383hp). ;) Comp, Clutch, etc. Boy this is fun but I need a second full time job to support it.

better than I thought

almost 17 mpg? that's better than I would have guessed you'd get, but I am glad to hear it! Did you do the injectors and puck at the same time? ... or did you do the puck first? if the puck was first, how much difference did it make alone? I drove for a couple of days with a borrowed EZ and loved it even without the boost elbow!

exhaust, Comp, injectors sounds like a great plateau to shoot for (not to mention gauges ASAP!)

I don't have a Power Puck but I have Edge's EZ and DD 2's.

My milage was about 1 mpg more after hooking up the EZ, but after the DD2's were installed my mpg's went through the roof!

I went on a 500+ mile trip over the Sierra's to Bishop ,CA both ways and got 23. 1 mpg's at the pump. And my last trip this weekend to Hollister,CA from Sacto, CA round trip I got 20. 1mpgs at 75 to 80 mph the whole way.

I think the EZ + the DD2's are and awesome combo!:)
