I added the TTPM first - no change in mileage. Then I added the RV275's - no change in mileage. I get 25 mpg empty and 16 towing the 7K TT. (imperial gallons)
I got about 17 stock, added the VA got up to 18, teasing 19. Added the TST and drive on level 6, generally over 65, and I'm at 20 now. The lowest I've seen since the TST install is 17. 5, but that was with alot of fuel going up in smoke.
wow, my truck doesnt get the mpg that i heard the ctd would get. it only gets about 13-14 empty. but it still gets 10 hauling 12k. i dont even know if my truck is modified at all. according to my snapon scanner i am only getting 16 psi boost. want to do some mods soon though. mark
I got 17-18 on my 01 stock. This includes a majority of highway miles running between 60-75. I installed the TTPM from Diesel Dynamics and now run 19-20 very consistantly. This is running empty. Strangely the 2 tanks of fuel where I have gotten my best mileage (24) were both with the tailgate removed leaving me to wonder about what I hear on this list about that being less aerodynamic.
I've always run about 15-mpg over my mountain commute since new. After adding the DD TTPM and RV275's, I've seen a step in my spread sheet to 15. 5-mpg.
My 2000 has always gotten 15, no matter what. I recently purchased the Hypertech programmer and I am seeing 18 now. I have also put 4'' exhaust and a boost elbow on it. Otherwise stock.
