For some reason my mileage is not at all great. Tell me if I am wrong but I feel like my truck should get more mpg than it does. Granted I do have a lifted one ton, with 35's and a 727 3speed, but I am only getting between 13-15 mpg on hte highway. That just seems low to me. I figured the injectors needed replacing, but the truck only has 128,000 miles on it. What do you guys think? What needs to be done, bump VE pump, new injectors, both? Anyone goat a set of POD's out there that wants to get rid of them?

The only full hiway trip I've taken with my truck played out like this. Sacramento to Redding @ 80mph, got about 14. On the return trip I was following a friend towing a trailer at 65 and got about 18. That extra 15mph makes a big difference in mileage. See my sig, my truck is probably similar to yours. I'm assuming yours is a single wheel W350.

I now get bad mileage or worse I should say in town. I am down to 11-12mpg, but thats in town, but thats just the price of performance well for me anyways. I still get roughly 19-20 on the highway. Do you have a tach in your pickup? At what speeds are you going down the highway? What other sort of mods do you have? We need more info please.

I ususally go around 65-70 mph. My truck doesn't go much quicker than that. It sounds like a bomb when I floor it. I have gotten it to 90 but am afradi of breaking something. It has the 16 cm turbo, no tach guage, and 4" banks exhaust. Those are really the only engine mods.
