Well I must revise my earlier MPG. Since Running down the road yesterday chasing that d*mm John_P my mileage is down. Average for the trip was 18. 7. But I guess thats okay cause we did drive a little fast #ad #ad
But at least I know my CB antenna won't blow off. #ad #ad

Well, My '99 w/ auto and running just a little heavier than empty (I've been a packrat for years), I've been getting just short of 20mpg. This isn't as good as my '95, which over 106k averaged about 20. 6 mpg. However, I talked to someone who was surprised I would run a 2wd in Colorado. She drives a Suburu 2dr and loves the "power" #ad
She had parked next to my pickup and was laughing that her car was about the size of the bed on my pickup. I eventually asked what kind of mileage she got, and was shocked. My pickup gets the same highway mileage, but mine doesn't drop off nearly as sharply with city driving.
Bottom line: If you are getting depressed over your mileage, check some mileage figures for cars and trucks half the size. Made my day #ad
