I just istalled my Triple yesterday and initial impressions are 2-3 mph increase on the overhead in the tow/economy mode.

Before I got my power pup I was getting around 17-18 mpg on all highway cruising at about 67mph. With the power pup on the 90 hp setting (performance) I usually see at least 20 mpg if not more. All hand calculated.

I'm having a tough time deciding btwn the triple dog, tst, & juice w/attitude. Improved mpg would be a big bonus with the dump body on back... I'm also concerned with ease of use and built-in defueling, since other people drive my truck on a regular basis.

Does the outlook monitor compute mpg? What are everyone's first impressions of the monitor as far as appearance/quality/functionality?

Thanks. Ben

All I can say is my truck runs sweet with the Triple Dog. Tow setting makes the truck seem happier. Throttle response is smoother, the turbo spools better, and it runs pretty good on top. I would prefer a little more bottom end, but I guess the 600/610 motors respond better than the SO/HO motors.

Mileage? Well, I did the bddl and put my 35's back on about the same time. This time I lost about . 5mpg less than last time.

The beauty of the BDDL is that you can set it in the tow/economy mode, remove the module... and that's where it stays. If you go without the outlook monitor, once the module is removed, other drivers can't change the settings on you and abuse the truck. It doesn't appear that it makes enough heat or boost in that mode to break anything, yet provides ample extra power and economy. The downside to not getting the monitor is that you don't have the ability to have the safety features, which in my opinion are fairly useless you're running it in performance or extreme mode. I would highly recommend not getting the monitor if others are driving it. Just get a regular analogue boost/pyro combo.
