Need a new clutch, and have a brand new MU 1947 CON FE in my possession. I am planning to install it in my truck tomorrow. Got a good deal on it so I snagged it, but wonder if I need an OFE instead. I use my truck for towing in my Auto Transport business 98% of the time. Quite often this means towing pretty dang heavy, 23K plus. Will an FE be too grabby for me? I figure without the methanol my current mods have me at around 550 hp, with the Methanol a bit more. The posts I have researched on his topic just leave me confused. My main need in all of this is a great clutch for towing with this much horsepower. Is an FE going to cause me grief while towing heavy?
