Competition Lockers

Which are best for pulling?

... ok; I know the m/t will have better bite -- but at some point the choice is 'dig in' or 'spin'; right? Digging in breaks stuff; so perhaps an a/t is a better over-all choice? Unless you loose a-lot of distance with less digging in -- so it's worth the extra wear and tear -- but digging with 'no go' is worthless; so what tends to happen on the track?

Yeah; I overthink stuff. That's why I didn't compete this year and I'm still putting a truck together... .

Mud tires are good for about 1 out of 10 tracks I have seen.

I'm a fan of an all season tread.
I agree 100% with sleddy. With our superstock truck we have ran bf muds & a/t's & the a/t's always work better unless it has rained & the track is muddy. On a good clay track or dry dirt the a/t's work better everytime.

Thanks for the feedback. More gripping surface and edges with the a/t. I gather from this that most pulling surfaces are relatively hard packed or the m/t would be better for the 'bite' effect.

I'll check out the procomps and m/ts.
