Competition Head Porting and Chamber swirl?

Well, I had to try out my new toyos today. It has been raining a lot at my property, so I thought I would give these new tires a real work out.

Man, it that cummins heavy :--) , I started out in 4wd and plop, straight to the axels in mud. At least I was smart enough not to dig it in any worse. So I told the wife time to fire up the Kubota and dragged it out backwards.

Thank god for a 4WD and AG tires. The tractor just yanked the old cummins right out. :D

I am still laughing about it. She thought it was pretty funny also. :-laf :-laf

As it turned out, unless I had a jeep or some other light vehicle with 44" boggers, there was no way I was going through that muck.

Hey honey, I need new bigger tires..... ;) i. e. the toyos only have 200 miles on them.....

you have the stock size don't you? going a little bigger will help some but it will still try to dig to China, that front axle weighs 4K+! a Cummins is not a good mudder in the bottomless stuff.

I sunk mine to the door sills once. The wrecker that was pulling me out, pulled itself off of dry asphalt. The driver was worried that he wouldn't be able to pull me out.

I happened eventually though. And I rolled the truck later that night. THAT was a bad day...

As it turned out, this is where I am going to put the driveway around my building. I guess I am have to going to add a lot of rock... :{

the water rolls off thehill and escentially become a spring, making the hard ground become muck... .

I learned a long time ago when going off road, back an forth twice with no movement. Thats it you better make other plans on extracting yourself.

That poor truck was my first truck (my first vehicle with four wheels, period). I had it for just about two weeks.

I was on a little back road and hit what I thought amounted to a puddle going about 40 MPH. Ended up that the "puddle" was about a foot deep. Wet road and locked up rear wheels amounted to a high speed spin-out and hit a ditch and rolled into a field.

I broke my side window out with my head in the impact and the crushed windshield hit my hand. That was the extent of the injuries in the truck, the two passengers were fine. I was just a little bit upset at the whole thing. As a testament to the truck, I checked it over and nothing was leaking, so I started it up and turned on the heaters while we waited for the tow truck and the CHP. It was about 34 degrees out and raining. Turns out the tow truck driver was the same one that pulled me out of the mud earlier that day.

I lucked out as the truck was only two weeks old and hadn't really depreciated. I got it paid off and bought a new one with the same build sheet. The new one was a 01. 5 with rear disks. I only lost about $1000 on the new truck with the payout.

I really wish I could've bought the old truck back. That would've been sweet with a power wagon body fit over it somehow...

On a side note, the other pictures are of my current truck, the damage to that one was a punk kid drunk driver. Luckily, I was in the house when he hit the truck...
