I purchased and installed a set of 12"x24" (Froont and Rear) flaps from Kaydenco/Duraflap out of Oregon.
My truck is a month old with 4k miles and already has quite a few rocks chips on the rockers (prior to falp install). The side of the truck would get a lot of crap thrown on it as well.
The new flaps work awesome, no new rock chips. You can determine how high you want to mount them during install, probably + or - 3 inches. I set mine at about 8 innches in front and 9 inches in rear, measuring from the ground.
I think they look pretty good on the truck, even though I have never liked mudflaps on pick-ups.
My next paint protection step is to add Clear Bra to the front of the truck. This looks like a good product.
So far I absolutely love this truck! My first vehicle at age 16 was an '83 Chevy K-10 Blazer with the Detriot 6. 2 Diesel. To say the difference between that truck and this one is night and day would be a tremendous understatement. Compared to my '97 Ram 1500 4x4 5. 9L gas, it is at a minimum night and day.
