Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Muffler Direction

Has anyone played with Rips muffler direction and noticed any difference? Looking inside the muffler, louvers facing forward to catch air or turned around so air flows easily through. Any difference???

From what some others have posted before, there seems to be a little bit difference in sound.

I haven't seen the louvers, but I think they're just like the glass pack type mufflers. The glass packs are restrictive on the gas motors.



There was a hp "turbo muffler" test done by one of the car magazines a long time ago. The last muffler they tested was a glass pack. It was the worse hp muffler tested. :-laf
