I just ordered a walker 21471 from napa for 79 bucks. . From what I've read, it should still be a little loud, though kill the drone and keep the turbo sound. . Hope so. .

Would a dynomax bullet muffler that is 4'' in and 4'' out straiaght through with a 16. 5 total length and 14'' body possibly be enough to clean up the sound a little. . Tinny sound and drone??

The best idea for a muffler would have too be a kenworth muffler thats straight through you will still have awesome sound but still legal for u that need a muffler in ur state

Thanks for the link. I am going to use those, when doing the exhaust. My stock pipe is crushed in about an 1/8th of an inch. I doubt that I will be able to remove the stock exhaust without cutting...

I hear ya, I did not realize how easy it was to remove exh until I removed mine that had the band clamps... And how easy it went back together



You want to run straight piped on dyno day, Simple, get back home,swap back in the muffler (on the MBRP system, the muffler is a R&R item)



ON A SIDE NOTE - I got a DPP "600" muffler replacement kit - Looks really nice, and even has the pipe to offset to the lower front pipe, and all slip fit. . (though it came with crush clamps, I have band clamps already)

And talk about a great price! - This should be a 20 minute job to get that beatup 2-yr old muffler I had out and this one in - AND actually run a tail pipe for once!!!!
