Muffler gone and I love it!!

Removed my muffler last week with Geno's M/E kit. The first thing I noticed was 25-50 RPM higher idle speed and smoother idle. Quicker low end throttle response and you gotta love that sound!!!!Was wondering if anyone else noticed this much difference.

Is it primarily a difference in pitch, sound, or whatever - Or is it much louder in the cab. I don't care if it is a little louder outside, but I don't need anymore cab noise.

Did you run in to any hurdles installing the kit. I just got mine Tuesday from Geno's. It recommends using a torch or abrasive disc, but figured I could do it without with a little more sweat. I couldn't get the clamp in front of the muffler loose. The nuts came off and the "C" bar came out the top, but couldn't get the clamp off the muffler tube. Will probably have to take it to my buddies to get help with the red wrench. Just curious.

There is a difference in sound with out the muffler and resonator obviously, and when i dropped mine i was concerned about it being too loud... . but since dropping it i was pleasantly suprised at the level of noise.

it is not at all unpleasant and doesn't effect conversation or radio listening...

But of course i really like the noise so take it for what it is worth #ad
