I have no brake lights, back ups, running lights, or turn signals. Does the multifuntion switch control any of these. The third brake light does work and all the front lights work. Oh! it is a 2005 quad 2500. Any ideas?

Have you checked the fuses? The ones under the hood??

Almost sounds like a connector issue, or a grounding issue...

I did check the fuses and they were all good..... I think I will put a multifunction switch in and see if that helps. If you don't know the story behind my truck it was a flood truck so it could be anything. Good news is that I got it running over the weekend :) Windows roll up and down now :)

Not likely that the Multifunction switch is your culprit,it is your TIPM. the switches don't turn the lights on directly. They tell the TIPM that you want them on and the TIPM turns them on.

Where is the TIPM located? I have a parts truck to swap the parts around to see if thats is the problem.

I figured out what the problem was, it was the plug underneath the truck on the drivers side. It is a main connector under the the truck that goes back to the taillights. It was just not push together all the way. A quick shove together and all is well.
