Multiple Emails for posts

Hey Steve, why have I been getting multiple email notification on replys to a post? I usually get at least 2, even up to 8-10 for a one comment post. It is not even for separate posts, just one. Am I the only one? Do I have something set wrong?



Is the TDR going to send out an updated travel companion soon? Or are we supposed to print it off?

Is this happening on every post or just some? Give me the date and time of some instances of this happening and I'll look in the logs.

it's 10:19 my time... .



it was the reply COMP made that set it off.

COMP is trouble..... no doubt... ... ...

It looks like this is caused by users hitting the reply button multiple times. When the system receives a post it sends out the notifications, if it's a duplicate post it will delete the new post but the notifications still go out it looks like. Keep letting me know when it happens (your time and date and what time zone you are in) and on what thread and I'll try to track it further.
