Off Roading what will fit?

Competition Sledpuller Still Reigns..........

Scuttlebutt is the track is too wet from the weather they have been having. The drags have been cancelled due to rain.

Yeah,

They got cancelled this morning due to some rain that rolled in.

Supposedly drags will run tomorrow, but everyone left after the rain started and hit the road home.

Although some running did take place.

The fastest time recorded (that I know of) was the ATS Duramax piloted by Clint Cannon he ran a 12. 6@105 on Diesel only.

Duramax

Boy Clint's flat amazing with that frickin' Dmax isn't he? We had a heck of a time keeping our nose out in front of that Dmax while in Vegas.

Anyone know of any other times from the drags before it got called?

It's hard for a California boy to imagine rain in the middle of the summer:) We don't see a drop for several months. Just blue sky breakin' out all over:D

I ran a 12. 4 @ 112 in the Dakota spinning on a semi-wet track. 60 ft was 2. 0 and the 1/8 was an 8. 0. Jeff tried one launch on the drag truck but tire shake on the wet track was just too much. It's a shame it rained as I know there were going to be some fast runs. There will always be Thunder 04.

You guys are crazy, the track was way to wet for me to run, I don't like the walls. Clint did a good job in the Duramax considering he almost hit the wall on the starting line... ... his are bigger than mine, Dave was knocking it down with the Dakota, all in all a really good time, Eric put on a heck of an event... . the pulls were insane I've never seen so many people break stuff before, one output shaft, two blown turbo's, 7 or 8 smoking clutches and I don't even know how many drive shafts, Mitchell did two aborted runs, and Ken Crowder (shieds truck) put on one heck of a show... ... just flat jaw dropping, Larry Crawford did real good with one half track slam shift that was just nuts:D ... . not afraid!

147 hooks, 2700 people!

Sorry we couldn't keep that front out of the Muncie area on Sunday for about 6 more hours. When I left the office (I'm a National Weather Service meteorologist) on Friday, the models we're showing the front moving through later that afternoon. Unfortunately, the front sped up and pretty much ruined the Sunday drag race event. Had a great time anyway.

Hope we have better luck with the weather next year! I'll try to work on it. :D

Wasn't no way we were going to go in the rain. We did have some street tires, but that's not the cool part.

We had a hard time finding people on hte street to race though.
