Gene's truck is just back from the bodyshop. Had to widen the door to fit his head through

Anyone but me and a few others notice how he forgot that he was still attached to the sled after his last pull??



It went like this:

(insert sound FX here... ) BANG!

Gene: "OOoops!, I hope nobody saw that... . "

Sled chain dude: "Hey!... . why don't you wait until I unhook you!!??... Has all that AMS-OIL gone to your head... ??!!"

Me: *giggle, giggle*



Just pokin fun..... no harm intended.



He did make some really sweet pulls..... in comparison to others.

Some had a good day... some didn't. All of 'em were a blast to watch, though!!

Sheryl was nice enough to film that, but miss me me spooling up the turbos.



I saw a hand in the mirror, and THOUGHT the flagger said go ahead, he didn't.

Good reminder to me careful out there, and double check.

I have every pull and a lot of the drag racing on VHS.



I don't have the equipment to get it to the computer. If someone is willing ot convert it, I'll send them a copy of the tapes.

Ok,somebody help me here,I have now just rolled off my computer chair and need uprighted,,Did I see this in this post-Don M admitting he's wrong ????, And then there was Johnboy,the DROF pilot,admitting he's going to kick Gene's butt at Scheids later in the year????,,Glad to see Texans can be humbled and admit defeat in a battle they are way to far behind in,,This Johnboy idea has only one solution for him to be able to overturn and defeat Gene,that would be his purchase of a PROPERLY VALVED DODGE 5spd and send the truck to the HP crew in lower Ohio,because we all know unless he chains all of Genes tires together and to a tree he'll never outdistance the Dodge,,Two things and I'll finish here and I think it will sum up the Muncie adventures for all of those who went and those who could only hear on the phone or read on the internet... .

#2-Since everyone was at Muncie and I could not be there I went to the only game close,to watch Dave Mitchell at the Buck,,Even though he had a good poker face on most of the nite Loretta kept him abreast of the progress of his trucks there and you could see the smile when he got the call after the finish of all events Saturday,,He didn't say much just told those of us who were around the final results and smiled alot,,That was enough for us to know... ... ... .

One last thing,I started the "SLED PULLER IS MY HERO" shirt stuff for Miss Cleo,,If there is a serious interest I can get them done,,I myself,think Don M would look FABULOUS in one,don't ya'll... ... ... Andy

I've quietly sat back and watched this deal unfold, and I too had to watch Dave Mitchell at the buck I want to jump on the list for the Sled Puller t-shirt The "Pennsylvania Posse" sprint car racers seem to be not alone anymore, there seems to be another "Posse" in Pennsylvania coming togther rather nicely

I screwed up on the line and still put two hundred feet on ole Sled Puller. If I someday ever find an injector builder that suits me and I throw some fuel at this ole dorf, stand back fellas!!!! :--)

Chris-How come you didn't come and say HI to the 2 M-D TDR members that were in attendence???CAM(Mike Chelf,the white 96 dually that drag raced)and I(98 Flame Red Quad Sport that was in the show and shine area) were there all nite long,,I am now working on the "Pa Posse" graphic rebirth for us and will have them ready for the next meet,,Took me a while to find the old Brad Doty Bowers Coal # 28D picture and have it enlarged so we can have the one that was on his hood of the car(if you can remember it),,Ah yes those were the days then,if your a sprint car nut I also found my shot from late 70's early eighties I took at Eldora,OH with Doty's 28D,Mouse in his 4J(Kenny Jacobs) and The Wild Child(Jac Haudenschild)in the Gambler House car 18 way high on the bank pushin the cushin,,Way too many track back then and way too many photos sitting around here,those were the days... ... . COOL!!!

We went to the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte over Memorial Day weekend and watched the outlaws run Friday night. Open pits after the race and met Stevie Smith (new oxford, pa) and got his autograph. Really nice guy, he won his heat, started the feature in the back, drove to the front and cut a tire with a few laps to go, he would have ran away with it

I'm all for the PA Posse logos, shirts, underwear, etc.



I think I was in Charlotte when the order came out for the MD-TDR decals and I missed the boat I hope there are some extras or something. If not maybe next time

Not bad had a couple of kids and bought a 06 mega cab. I still lurk on here.



That was a great year we had. The thought of the soot on your dash still makes me laugh.

The competition forum is a little slow compared to back then. Ohh the fights we used to have:-{}:-laf I don't see many of the old guys still on here.
