I'll be leaving from Clarkston, MI (about an hour north of Detroit) on thursday, 2-3 PMish.

I'll be leaving Manistique, MI between 9 and 11 am on Friday depending how classroom check-in goes. If I can roll out at 9 I should be in Gaston by 4:30.



Is the ride in from the steak place happening again this year?



I'll also being staying for Sunday's events this year instead of skipping out early like last year.



Is there any lodging left near Gaston? It was kind of a last minute decision to go this year and I haven't secured lodging yet. Last resort is cab of truck like last year but would prefer place with shower.

We haven't really decided yet but thinking on it

We are from Indiana originally so think we could just go back to Logansport if we need to for night but would rather find campground closer any suggestions? I know the one at Gaston where most are staying is probably full so didn't even call them. I haven't looked at my campground book yet. I will do that soon. If we go we will probably be leaving from SW MO Joplin on Mon or Tues of that week. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We haven't been to Thunder in Muncie before have made the Natl in Columbus IN and May Madness in NV but somehow have missed what is in our old stomin grounds we lived in Kokomo for 22 years and Logansport for 10. Hope lots of people show...

I am driving out from Pt Reyes Station, CA Only 2,340. 8 miles leaving on May 31st and visiting some family in Northern Ohio prior to the event. All this is pending my new motor install at the end of May.
