Chevy Duramax, Because Real Trucks Rattle

Fire-ringed! by ADT (A++++ work)

Supposedly it's to help cool the air, so he can now drive "without burning a valve or piston"

They then compare him to MADDOG, and say that the truck pictured is going to run 10's, and the only thing different from MADDOG's truck, and the truck pictured is the Cummins.

What are these guys smokin' !!???

Based on this quote:

"Well,

I knew this would be shocking... . lol..... I fooled yall good; it is a photo shop mod... ...

Not.

My CFD model has indicated that the boundary layer separates about 6-8" aft of the forward curve of the hood and about 6" high off the surface at 60 mph. The boundary layer increases in height as you move aft on the hood surface.

Many of yall may not know but this is a hobby truck and I rarely drive it. This Top Mount intercooler is an experiment and the required efficiencies dictates that the boundary layer be captured and funneled to the cooler. The dynamic pressure across the surface must match or exceed the front mount cooler. This setup will exceed the front mount efficiency,,, period.

I don't think this guy knows what he's talking about. Either he's just spewing "buzz" words to look smart, or he asked someone about the aerodynamics for this project and screwed up what they told him. :rolleyes: Or he's a poor engineer.

(Note: this is just my opinion... I don't know the guy)
