Off Roading Rock Sliders...

Off Roading best lift kit to clear 35's

Has anyone ever done this?

I did it about a month ago with my '94... I think the results are pretty close to 'real-world' as well...compared to what the truck has run on a paved 1320' track.

I didn't get a printout of the 0-60... but it was in the high 7 second range.

On the 1/4 mile passes she ran a high 14@96mph

Great numbers Matt! The ole '94 still has it, eh? You never did tell me how you ended up down there on them rollers anyways... ;)

Thanks, Jim. I wouldn't consider the numbers 'great'... but not bad for an old daily driver. I got connections at a turbo gasser speed shop in Chicago.

I tried it with my 01, couldnt build any boost or the tires would break loose everytime.

I didn't do any boost launches... I just put the soot pedal all the way down and held it there until the runs were over. As a result... my 60' times were really bad - like 2. 6 seconds.

i tried that too, in wausau, it just didnt feel right cause you couldnt feel the truck when you needed to shift and the ease the clutch out between gears. i ended up just banging through the gears. i dont remember the times any more.
