Competition Englishtown to host 2 diesel drags in 2003!

LOL! Gene ol buddy, why did I know that you would be the first to reply! With Nitrous and Propane it would be easy to make over 700. Lets see some one do it with #2 only!! I wanna see that! I bet some are closer than you think!

Speakin big singles, what ever happened to Joe D? I learned my lesson with single chargers. They dont live long on HEAVLY fueled 12v's.

Still Trying To Catch Up

I made 601 in Vegas during May Madness and since then I've added more fuel. Indicaters are we're just under 660 now. Yup, twin chargers are the only way to go IMO. I hope to have a solid dyno run next week to determine just where we're at. Then we will light off the two stage Nos:)

Has anyone run their truck on a Mustang 1750? What was the HP reading? Was tire slippage a problem?

If you are not familiar with the dyno it is Mustang's top HP dyno with the 50" roller.

I'm just trying to get an idea if the 1750 will provide better traction and repeatability on high (>500HP) HP trucks than the 250 and the 750.

Just got home from the Mustang plant. We were just getting her dialed in, when we got run out of the building.

Seems their hose was not set up for a Twin Charger Cummins!

It is a shame about those three white, brand new, motorcylce dynos for_________, I think they will wash.

The are going to build a venilator system in a DIFFERENT building, and have me back to do some serious testing.

The tires did not slip. They did slip at the last Dynojet I was on.

I think the Mustang beats the Jets hands down.

I would like to go back with a Piers Stoopid Pump, and a set of Mitchell injectors. (HINT):D

it's so funny how people have no idea what these little 6 bangers will do. i hope they get it ready for you and it will be able to hold your new found power.

Like I said, we were just getting dialed in, but the numbers were lower.

Of course, I spiked the poop out of the Jet in 5th gear, just to make Kobi and Jetpilot look bad. :p :{

They were doing some real neat things, when we got thrown out.

But the third and fourth runs were within a couple hp. Every run was higher, as they loaded it more. It was loading it enough that I started to get a touch nervous. I think if you were trying to load down a truck with drugs, it would melt it.

I only used 4th gear on the Mustang.

By the fourth run, it took some time to get to 4000, it was making it work. The Jet, I could bury the tach and speedo almost instantly.

We were getting ready to really load it down, when they pulled the plug.

This was the big single rollers, not the double rollers, the double rollers are the ones that slip.

I would think a shot of nitrous would slip a bit, but it would on the street also. It felt really solid.
