I purchased a signal mirrors for my '01 from Carl's website (thanks again) and they got here yesterday. I installed them in about 2 hours, with the hardest part being fishing the wire through the door and into the cab. They look great. They are extremely bright at night so maybe now those grapefruit shooters will know when I'm coming over into their lane. A great addition and great insturction manual.

BLKDEMON, I to purchased these but have not had the time to install. Are the directions correct? Was the door panel easy to remove and re-install? Any hints or special tools required? Thanks in advance.

My only hint would be to make sure that you put the longest wire harness on the passenger side. I accidentally put the driver's side harness on the passenger light and I had to butt connect two wires together to make it reach. Also look where the wires come off of the steering wheel on the column to find the appropriate wires to attach the scotchlok. I looked underneath the dash for 2 hours before I decided to look on the column.

I know the question wasn't directed to me, but IMO the answer is yes. Any time you take off the door panel have a few extra clips laying around. It is not too hard to mutilate them upon removal, and the panel will sit nice and tight to the door again with a few new clips.
