My 03's annoying quirks.

Took off all boxs and plugged up the relief valve with a 14mm bolt today. I am pretty sure after all the miles with an EZ my relief valve is wasted, but it didn't cure these quirks.



BTW, I found a relief valve for $322 today aftermarket.

I was thinking my stumbling problem might be related to the relief valve, but I tried a simple fix first & it seemed to work.

I reccomend everyone to try the Cummins/Valvoline injector cleaner described in the current issue of TDR (issue 52) pg. 154. It really woke my truck up & no stumbling since, more on this thread: https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158480



ps- who knows maybe it cleans up a gunked up relief valve as well...

I'd guess clogged injectors since the relief valve is a safety valve only ... ... ... ... ... it's not supposed to work.
