What mods? I'd assume built auto trans of some description. 180 is not that bad of a 60 ft, but given you are in the 12's, your truck must fly at some point. I'll also assume . 355 gears. Still scratching my head at that quick of an ET and 105 on top..... well, I guess that's about right. That's a good time. What boost are you leaving at?

is a 4. 10 gear not better for drag racing than the 3. 55?

Yes in gassers, no in diesels. From what I've seen anyway. The rpm band where your power is made in diesels is much narrower and the . 355's keep you in that power band longer. 355 trucks with auto's can scream off the line with a good boosted launch. The trick is to have good billeted shafts so you don't break them on the line.

4. 10 gears, Fass, Mach 6, Silver Bullet, Fully Built Suncoast, Stage 3 Meth, 5" exhaust, Leaving at 32-35 boost and only running 46 psi until I get the head o ringed, the truck and a lot more potential once I kick in up to 65-75 psi A guy up there last night with twins was cutting a 1. 6 60 ft so i know i have room for improvement, my ignorance last night left me at the track without having lowere air pressure in my tires and the rear wheels need to be done off the truck since its a dually Weight with me in it is 7420

I love the 4. 10 in my truck, the guy running 12. 0 had 4. 10 as well, my mph of 105 was no where near running out of gear, I have seen about 120 out of the truck before, no need to drop gear and lose bottom end

How are your egt's with that setup?

I'd think with the 410 gears, even in 4 wheel drive, you'd smoke the tires launching..... maybe that is what affected you 60 ft times? Guys I've seen in high hp trucks with 410's spin on the line... ... they are also not as quick as lower hp 355 geared trucks. I agree you won't run out of gear, I don't, just my 6 speed is too slow out of the blocks to worry about running out of gear. I think I'm only running 96 in the 1/4 mile.

Whew, you are leaving at 32-35 lbs of boost... ..... ? Wow, I'd say a prayer for you input and output shafts... ... even if they are billet.

you really have to sit in the truck to see how the boost builds, it will take over one minute to reach 15 psi, then about 5 seconds to bulid from 15 psi to 48 psi

Egt's about 1800- 2000 please dont comment on this as this motor can handle this for a couple seconds and Mark from TST has tested this motor at 1500 degrees for 5 min without failure. 2000 will not heat the pistons to failure within my 1/4 mile times single turbo trucks sled pulling see these temps all the time!!!

I was just curious as to what kind of cooling the silverbullet was giving you. I know they'll move a lot of air. Short burst of high temp are not that big of a deal, it's the sustained that really hurt you. All though I have to say 1800-2000 seems high, I have a buddy that swapped his 1600 degree gauge for a 2000 so I understand. Do you drive this truck on the street, if so what kind egts on the street..... still just curious about the silver bullet..... been hearing lots of good on that turbo.

Most will die when they hear this, average street driving I get between 22 - 24. 6 mpg fuel economy and never drop below 19. 5 when towing my gooseneck dump trailer with a 10,000 lb John deere 280 skid loader so I am towing about 15,000 lb with this set up and if the TST is turned off I can manage to stay under 1400 egt's when climbing decent grades that we have in MD. Average street driving I will hit 1100 max unles Im really into the throttle, the ideal map range of this turbo is nearly 2800-2900 rpms and I know plenty of guys that are running upwards of 60-70 psi boost and will never see more than 1250 out of the egt's, I am not going to lie, this truck blows more black smoke than you probably have ever seen if I leave a traffic light hard, but normal driving smoke is minor and once you hit 60 mph and stomp on it, it smokes no more than when I had the TST with stock injectors and stock turbo, It in no way is this comparable to a twin setup but I must say I am thouroughly impressed for having spent $2300 rather than over $5,000. 00 this turbo has seen nearly 800 hp from what Industrial has told me. The newest and best single on the market if you ask me, you just have to be prepared to learn how to drive the truck to clear the smoke up

You're right, 95% of the people on here won't believe you on mileage. I can get close to 20 if I'm really nice to it, but I usually get 15 -17. Pulling my dump trailer or our enclosed trailer 12. I figured for sure with mach 6's and a 66 it'd get worse, but I guess not. I'd like to try it and see. I get a constant haze pulling now. Also, I top out at just over 100 at redline. My bigger tires get me up to 110, but I didn't think a 4:10 geared auto would go that fast unless you're going way past redline?

Where can I pick the truck up? Heck I'll drive it around for a week.

I'm not doubtin ya brother. But ya gotta admit thats kind a hard to beleive.

I believe him. My truck is stock, and I get 42 mpg empty, and 36 towing. I also run 9's at the track, and my wife says I can have a girlfriend.
