JUST got my 02 2500 6spd and if you saw my last post i immediately changed the coolant from the green kind to murray's. i did this at my mechanic buddys prompting after he looked at his mechanic's software and it advised against using the green kind. it is a silicate? i think? and the other kinds are slicker and the silicate matter could break down your water pump and other parts-he told me. so we changed it. i noticed on the underside of the radiator cap it was sludgy and looked like bird crap. is this normal? we flushed it with his machine adding about 7 gal of 50/50 murray's and h20. the next day after driving it a few town miles and stopping and shutting it off, it started puking a bit of coolant from the lower hose, i think maybe from the clamp. been too late and dark for me to crawl under there but maybe the clamp is just loose? it doesn't leak at all while running and now the res. is down and today the leak was either smaller and running down a hose or located somewhere else as it was dripping further back towards firewall/wheelwell area on pass. side. any input? not necessarily a 911 but it's my 1st ctd and i'm overwhelmed by the magnitude of the truck, the lifestyle, the bada##ness:-laf and the payments:{thanks in advance
