I got my first sample back today from Horizon. They don't give you a whole lot of guidance as to what you are reading. I need some help from you all. Here are my numbers: Fe=16, Cr=0, Ni=0, Al=3, Cu=6, Pb=0, Sn=0, Cd=0, Ag=2, Ti=0, V=0, Si=5, Na=1, K=6, Mo=0, Sb=0, Mn=0, Li=0, B=52, Mg=444, Ca=2660, Ba=2, P=1168, Zn=1420. I know what each of the letters stand for but I don't have any reference as to what is normal or abnormal. :confused:

it is kinda hard to read the chart going sideways, but from the elements i remember, none of your critical wear readings look off [looks good]

Fe=16, - iron looks ok
Cr=0, - chromium looks ok
Ni=0, - nickel looks ok
Al=3, - aluminum looks ok
Cu=6, - copper looks ok
Pb=0, - lead looks ok [great actually]
Sn=0, - tin looks good
Cd=0, - not sure why cadmium was tested?
Ag=2, - sliver looks ok
Ti=0, - titanium looks ok
V=0, - Vanadium ????
Si=5, - silicon is a little high for my likes. check your air filter & oil filler cap
Na=1, - sodium is ok
K=6, - potassium is ok [will change with different oil brands]
Mo=0, - molybdenum ok [will change with oil brands]
Sb=0, - Antimony. don't know what it is, don't know why it was tested?
Mn=0, - Manganese. i don't think that is even in the isb engines?
Li=0, - lithium. . don't know why it was tested
B=52, - boron. . oil additive i think [at work we use it as a cooling water treatment compound]
Mg=444, - magnesium ??? don't know where it is coming from
Ca=2660, - calcium - oil additive
Ba=2, - Barium. ?????
P=1168, - Phosphorus - oil additive
Zn=1420 - zinc - oil additive

the lab did a very extensive test, but a lot of it isn't needed. . a few other items would be nice to see too [TBN, TAN, V100°c, VI, fuel, free water, soot]

Oil analysis site

Here is a great site regarding oil and everything related- Bob Is The Oil Guy

That site and the links there go a long way in the oil analysis situation.

What oil bypass system are you using? Is the Jayco 29BHS a oil bypass?

WHat mileage is on the oil, as well as the truck? And did you leave out the Viscosity reading, or did they not report the viscosity. Viscosity of oil is a most important property, so it should have been reported.
