Um. A 2X2 would be a motorcycle with both the front and rear wheels driven. Methinks you meant 4X2. Nice job on the truck! Looks wonderful.

I have the same truck, but all black. I can't figure out why it came without clearance lamps. I see you added them on yours... . every W250 and 350 should have 'em as far as I'm concerned. Where did you get the set ? Gotta get me some !!! Your truck looks great. I just spent the last week driving mine in new snow, sure glad I have 4x4 . 2wd rides nice, but nothin beats traction.

Clearance lights only come standard on 1 ton trucks or larger. You can order them on 3/4 ton or even 1/2 ton trucks. People that order them on less then 1 ton trucks call them "macho lights".

Insurance

I simply told you in my first attempt that your insurance agent will be happy to hear of your upgrade. Notify Him/Her prior to an accident. They want their cut.



4X4 vehicles are worth more and cost more to repair. The insurance you carry must reflect this. If you were to make a claim for front-end repairs after an accident, it's called insurance fraud.



Notify ASAP of the change to protect your ride, and your hide.

ha,ha !! I"M always looking at it in the garage< I am proud of it <. as far as the macho lights go < thats what I wanted on ,so what ever I want I try to get now !! ( 53yrs old )now my time ! got them on ebay !! look under (cab lights )

I"m not worried about INS . pl & pd thats all I need !!

I wanted a 4x4 , but a new one cost $$$$, so I built my truck with about $3500, put in a nv4500,13inch sachsclutch ,only 140,000miles ,should be all the truck I need , is all the truck I need < & it sits in the garage most of the time !! IT take a lot of planning < got to get the parts first < I found a 92 ,gasser 4x4 at pick&pull so I got all the frame stuff cheap !!hardest part is cutting off the front supenison from the 4x2
