Well it’s been a long journey with the ol 12v but I haven’t given up on her yet. Bought the truck from a rip-off shop in north ga with no motor but had an awesome body so I saw potential. Long story short they didn’t know what they were doing and I cracked the block driving it the first day with a hx40! Took the truck to Jeff Garmon and he built me a motor and transmission and saved my butt. Was set up with a big single and made 587whp but I wanted a little more. Ordered a towing compound kit from power driven with a k27 over s372. Ive had so many problems with numerous things on the truck and learned so much. A reputable diesel shop that knows how to truly tunes these things makes all the difference in the world. It’s at kuntz bros in Athens now getting my injection pump that I had maxed and balanced on. I wish I could start over from scratch and it would have bought a running and driving truck and probably could’ve had what I want it for about 25 grand… Moral of the story, a build where you start from scratch is going to cost a lot more than what you think. I love the truck and hope it lasts me a long time. Could’ve had a new one but she still my baby ha ha
