Last monday I finally decided to install my stack. I used take-offs and blemished(easily polished out!) pieces, total of around 60 bucks for the bed clamp(10), flex pipe(10), homemade 4 to 5" exhaust piece(0), stack(10 used), used clamps from big rig(0), 3 elbows(10 each), my time ZERO
It took me about 3 hours total, and it was worth the wait! Oo.
I just thought I would throw this out there, cause if your like me and cant afford the "kits", just browse around and do it yourself for little $$. The only thing I dont like about it is the little "hump" (all the shop had was studded elbows) on the elbow coming out of the bed. Although the elbow under the truck has the stud still on it and I am going to reinstall the factory hanger to it, so it can be useful.
And the last three pictures are what NOT to do after a big rain(I started it and revved it for the video) when your stack wasnt covered, soot everywhere even about 20-some feet up in the yard there was little specks of soot.
