Take those asses to the vet and get them checked... especially that one that is sore and makes noises. :--)

The suggestion of getting the seat refoamed is the best way... even get it contoured so your ass feels like it fits better too.

If you ass me its probably the foam needs to be better quality and contoured to a custom ass shape. I will do this to my seat ass soon ass I get some other stuff done.

Whats the vet charge to check out an ass nowadays? Translation: What would be the cost to re-ass-ess the seat?

scott1, I think you have it ass-essed correctly, sounds like you are an ass-specialist!! ;) :D

I have plenty of cushion in my ass, so I'm going air ride!

Got plenty air also, but air is like hp, always need a little more!

Yogibear, its ASSpecially important to add fuel with the air. No sense dragging your ass... animal rights folks get upset and start to ass a lot of questions.

[scotty looks around for moderators and gets his ass outta here. ]

Re: "Maybe it is the ass that needs fixing, instead of the seat??????"

So I guess 3rd Gen owners have to have ass surgery. You can go to your favorite surgeon and ask for the 'AddAnAssToMe' special...

Then all 3rd Gen owners that had the surgery will start looking like J-Lo... or is it still Bennifer? :-laf

Matt

With Ford and Chevy owners, its called Brain Surgery:-laf :-laf :-laf

I'm fortunate to have a great "genetic-cushion" :D . Used to drive my fellow crew members nuts on long sailboat races (sitting on fiberglass for days). Seats are fine to me, but I agree, a little more shape/sculpture would definately help.

No wonder your azzes hurt... . there's a crack in em!:p

Seriously though... . I miss my seats from my 01' - I loved those things. Much more comfy and the power seats gave more function/control than my 04.

this seems like an ass-anine discussion. the cloth seats in my 04 are wonderful. its nice to have more upper leg support than in the darn caravans. i weigh in at about 205 and don't feel any "bars" anywhere. i even pushed down on the cushions trying to figure out where that un-ass-ceptable bar is???

I have put on 20k in 3 months since I bought the truck. Sometimes in it for 14 to 18 hrs at a time & the seats are definitely poor quality. Soon as I can get the important things added such as pac brake & exhaust I am going to have the seat padded with better quality foam. . DC seem to be cheaping out on alot of things to keep the price down. BUT IT HAS A CUMMINS

Well, clock in at 270lbs and 5'4" and you'll know right where that bar is.

Believe me.

I've been bithchin' about my leather seat on here for months and never got any replys. I went to the dealer yesterday and they are going to replace the leather and see if that works? Its the right side of my ass that is getting bumped or rubbed on something in that seat! It really drives me crazy. Doesn't seem as bad when I'm on the freeway with the cruise on since I can move my right side a bit. But around town I cannot find a comfortable postion!

I am a stealth 304 lbs. Just a lil guy that likes to flip cars, lift atlas stones and drag semi's. So one cannot always ASSume that a persons weight is all lard. ASS my mom used to say... "I could've had three kids in place of you and still saved money on the groceries!" :p ASS for the 2nd gen seats... my 01 wass terrible compared to this one. I did notice the Laramie seats are shorter on the seat part then the 01' leather seats or the cloth SLT 3rd gen seats. ASS far ASS I know theres nothing jabbing my ASS or thigh yet. I will still build up the foam with higher quality and different densities in different areas.

Air ride will make it better too.

Boy this thread is full of ASSumptions. I believe when I plunk my ass on the seat I can feel the seat rails after about an hour. That is a good idea to have a seat cover/upholstery shop refoam the seat, maybe that will help. Well I pass the ass baton to the next derrier challanged person. :D
