too bad my clutch is done tho, it still hooks good and hard, but i cant get the truck in gear, and when you start it in gear with the clutch pushed in, the truck still tries to slowly move because its not disengaging so the transmission and clutch are coming out tonight.
 
the truck is my daily driver, and its really hard to daily drive it with warped discs where i have to shut the truck off at every stop to put it in gear. i could hook it next weekend if i want, i just cant drive it to work anymore, and it would be a pain having to shut the truck off to back up to the sled, and then go forward again. I have finally learned my lesson about getting the clutch out very quick when pulling.
 
nice hook getblown you sure its not your clutch hyd causing you problems because that is way mine acted when master and slave went out. Could have clutch on floor and truck would still keep moving but still hooked good. Just food for thought.
 
i would think that, but getting the discs hot with a little slip cures the problem, Peter says the warped discs will kinda flatten out when warm and warp again when cool. plus if you had seen how far and how bad i slipped it last week you would know why i think the discs are warped from the heat... DOH
 
Peter would know better than I would just thought you might wanted to check that before having to pull the transmission. But I can see where a warped disk would act the same as well. The joys of playing
