Gregg,

I've lost several much loved family members in recent years who happened to be German Shepherds. I am not the slightest bit ashamed to admit I cried like a baby when I lost each of them.

I'm happy for you that she has been given a reprieve but at some point we have to thank them for enriching our lives and let them go. It is terribly sad when that day arrives.

I wont say it wont hurt when the time comes because most of us have experienced the loss of a friend's undying love and devotion to us. I have lost several good dogs and ONE REALLY GREAT DOG. I dont know what will happen when and if my Mules time comes. Hope it all works out for the best.
