I wanted complete protection on the front of the truck that a "full" bug shield can give you. The problem is that the hood is shaped so you have to get the two small pieces to go over the headlights. I didn't want to use double sided tape on the paint, so I did this. LineX'd the front, color matched. I think it turned out great.

Just an idea, you people have helped me out before, thought I'd return the favor. Hope you like it.

bug Shield

Now that is one sick upgrade. I like that kind of ingenuity. Leave it up to these guys to come up with something I have never seen before... . kinda makes me want to do parts of my truck with it. Looks great.

C102, Looks great. I just hope it doesn't fade and change color like it does in the bed.

Is that a custom color matc they did? It looks like a good match in the pics, how good does the match look to you?

I was thinking about line-x on my bumpers, (I don't like chrome)

They can match just about any color now. I've had two color matches and they both looked great at first then faded. I talked to two different Line-x dealers and they both told me that all colors will fade over time. Hopefully not too soon for you tho, yours looks really good. They said they could spray a clear coat over it but that would wear off too.

DB, I don't like chrome either, I got rid of all of mine.

Fade

Wouldn't the lifetime warranty cover the fading? If not, the dealer here in Omaha said he could recover it years down the line w/ a thin coat to make it look like new. I plan on sticking around here for at least that long and so does my truck... so I'll keep all of ya informed.

I plan to eventually get bed liner on the lower quarter panels. . had "turboliner" sprayed on my grill shell a while back.

C102, dealer said warranty does not cover fading. That's great that your guy said he'd fix it. I hope it lasts a long time for you, good luck. Mike
