2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission my crazy stereo

hey guys, the other day my stock stereo decided it only wanted to play in a couple of speakers, this problem went away after it warmed up inside a wee bit. is it time for a new stereo, also, i have an extended cab, and in the rear door, drivers side, that speaker has never worked, i allready replaced all the speakers with alpine speakers, and that didnt fix the problem. any input? is it time for the shotgun?

Look at the wiring in the rubber boot at the door hinge, mine was broke on both doors. .
