How to flush injector lines?

When a young man stopped by, knocked on the door and wanted to buy my two first gens... .

I told him no friggin' way... so we stood out in the rain for 30 minutes and tweaked up his 93 4x4 auto. :-laf :-laf

Seems he knew about injectors, he bought some performance ones but didn't know what they were, knew about the fuel screw, he turned that in, but didn't know about rotating the fuel pin... it was not maxed out.

Guess what..... it is now!! :-laf

As he pulled out of the driveway his twin stacks were belching some life I can tell you that!! Sounded real good too.

Another one to the dark side.

Oh yes, he'll be joining TDR soon. ;)

Easy, just look at all of the ones working as farm trucks, ranch trucks or ol' farts pulling campers. They don't care about more power or anything like that. They just want a truck that will work hard day after day.

Philip used to be like that! :-laf :-laf Now he's got a 4" exhaust and starting to BOMB! :D

So Jay, this fellow never saw your ride in "Reader's Rigs" every other week last year??! Amazing :-laf

I still have that Timimg tool in the truck, Do we have someone to try it on? Moose Oo.

PS Still awaiting on my move date  #@$%! Soon I hope... .

That is too odd Jay. I just had a guy stop by when I was leaving today wanting to buy my 93. Same response, no way. He lives up the street and has 2 of them.

We'll see if he stops back by so I can show him what these trucks run like with a little tweakin...

I had my garbage man ask me if I wanted to sell mine early last month. I thought it was odd but after reading this I guess its the standard.

r you guys tweaking the rotary pump or a p pump just wondering cuz i have just aquired a new d250 and want to turn it up but it has the rotary pump? i turned up the 95 i had but that was easy i have it set so its making 460hp but i sold it Oo.

A couple of guys stopped by this week to ask if my 93 was for sale. Everything I own is for sale, but not at their prices. I sold my 1988 gasser for more han they wanted to pay. :-laf I'll be driving this truck for another 20 years if that is the best offer I get. Glen

I'll have to get to that J Leonard driveway.

"Old farts pulling campers".

I'm an old fart with his 5. 9 in a camper. Just keep paying that social security so the old folks can have some quality time. I promise to stay out of rush hour so you productive folks can get to where you produce.

Better make it soon before I find a job. ;)

Well, if you ever find yourself in the middle of Kansas with nothing to do. I have a couple of part time jobs for you. :-laf I think my 93 is as stock as they come. Glen

Normally, that is the way I learn too. If the TDR search fails me, I flop open the trusty service manual and get to experimenting. So far I have put most of the parts back. :-laf I just never started on the distributor pump, maybe when I get done painting old blue, I'll start on big red. Maybe not, it gets me there and back, has been extremely dependable and I very seldom tow more than my shadow. It would be nice to stomp on the accelerator and see more than a puff of black smoke though. :-laf :-laf The 93 makes my tired 94 Buick LeSabre seem like a hotrod though. Glen

If your 93 makes the Buick look good, you have issues that we need to resolve. I need a trip/ vacation to a drier climate. Half foot of rain in a week is just ridiculous. Keeps the grass geen, though:rolleyes:

Yeah, but the green grass needs to be cut more often, which takes away from my "me" time with my truck:-laf
