My dream is now real! Picked up my new 2012, Ram 3500 SRW 4X4. Has everything I need for towing my heavy boat... life is good!

Is that because it is not a Laramie???



That looks far better without the black between the windows.



That was something that the wife picked right up on with the Laramie that we are looking at, she did not care for the black between the front and rear glass.

Thanks folks, I really love this new Ram. Yes, it's a crew cab and no, mine did not come with the blk strips between the front and rear windows... it's all bright white. It's just the ST base model, but came with the chrome package, cold weather package, popular equipment package, a 4. 10 rear, and a sprayed Line-X bed. Because it is the base model, I kinda like the fact that I can now "make her my own". I plan on leveling the front end just a tad bit, and plan on adding slightly larger tires and fender flares to give her that strong stance and beefy look.



The Ram was listed at 45,500 at the dealer, but I got it for 30K out the door including tax & licensing. Once it was mine, because I tow heavy from the hitch, I quickly upgraded the stock class 4 receiver, to a class 5 receiver hitch and added the "Torklift - Superhitch" to give me a dead weight tow rating of 15,500 directly from the ball, and a total of 20K with a weight distribution system.



I've towed my boat with my new Ram 5 times since, and she tows outstanding!! Just in case anyone is curious... my boat and trailer weigh in at 13,500 fully loaded. This will be my truck for life!
