I know what your thinking Greg, something like what http://www.panavise.com/ and http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/ does with cell phone mounts. Those kind of mounts look nice and blend in well when painted black.
Those 2 companies only make brackets for the right side but worth mentioning if Big Bob hasn't seen those for ideas on a left side mount.
