My Edge-Juice/ Attitude is messed up again???

That’s right I’m so sick of this sorry for being upset guys but I had a lot of faith in this product before I bought it, and the shop that installed it has been super in dealing with the issue but. . My question is this. Is it my truck or the Edge-Juice/ Attitude that is messed up? My truck has 30K miles on it, and isn’t throwing any codes, nor has it ever. I’m on my 2nd Edge-Juice/ Attitude module and am having the same issue with both. Scenario, I just stopped and had dinner at a restaurant, truck was running 100% before I stopped and so was the box as far as I could tell, but don’t recall looking at it, or recall any alerts prior. I’m done with dinner, jump in, turn the key to start and I get a buzzer from the Attitude following the reading “Boost-Alert with a ( 0 ) value” flashing??? what the heck does that mean, then only 1-4 of the 5 settings now only work and the report screen is totally blacked out. This is the same thing that happened to the last Attitude. Truck runs great and like I said ain’t throwing any codes, but the Edge box appears to be fried again? Anyone got any ideas before I call Edge or the shop? I spent a lot of money on this thing, and hope I’m not going to continue to be replacing box after box. It’s been about 3K miles or so since the last box replacement for record. Also is there anything I can reset my self or un-plug? Also if it helps when I start the truck and the Attitude first comes on it says I have version 1. 1 is that the correct version for a 2005 325/600 48re truck? last time the shop I went through said I probably didn't have the updated version? If I recall the last model said version 1. 1 also? the only thing different is the new one has slightly brighter blue backlighting.

As you can see I've got redundant anolog guages too, and this proves my truck does not have a boost problem as my Attitude monitor suggests, peg the throttle, the autometer anolog guage accurately reveals 35 lbs of boost.

I would call edge. I'm on my 4 box it is kinda mading but I love the box and I'm local to edge so it takes me 10 min to take the box in and out I just stop bye and drop it off. call edge they will take care of you.
 
I'd also call Edge. Mine has been perfect for the six months and 12,000 miles I've had it. About half the miles have been heavy towing, and the other 1/2 is around town. It spends most of it's time on Level 2 except for the occasional need to blow off some kid in a Honda with a noisy muffler. :-laf
 
This is not a flame bash or discrediting Edge,This is a Known Problem with Edge Has Been for over 14 Months. This IS (ONE) experience with Edge.



Install unit on 11-22-04: On 12-20-04 customer calls with a will not start condition( it was -22 in northern Mn on this Date)Customer is in NY, On business related trip, Wife call Him with (No-Start),I got His wife Cell # from Him. I was NOT going to ask her to dis-connect the unit when its -22 ambient. Found local tow service and Had Truck Tow to Local Shop ( I was not going to drive 3hrs to Her location). As soon as the Truck was in the shop stall I walk them through removing the Edge Unit This Was installed on a 04 LB7 Duramax. Took five minutes to remove Truck started immediately after removal, The TOW BILL WAS AND SERVICE WAS $285. 00. I call Edge to Pay Half the Tow Bill and service They (declined). I send unit Back to Reliable Automotive for Credit( along with the rest of the Edge product we had) it took over 6 Month to get a Refund. Some of the delay is related to reliable. None the less I thought it was Edge performance Not Edge investment. It seem their units cannot take extreme"s (Very Hot or Very Cold). I would Like to Promote your Products again,This and other issues with your product has existed for months. This leads me to the conclusion of ,One your don"t want to resolve it, Or you don"t have the ability to resolve it.

(This is a relate experience an is still open to Be resolve) and a Opinion.
 
Well I got fed up last night and pulled the box out of my truck. The owner of the shop that sold the unit is on vacation for two weeks, and I sold my Porsche Boxter last week so my CTD is my daily driver right now until my new car comes in. plus my CTD was getting crappy MPG and smoking like a chimney since the malfunction. Lot’s of white smoke cold, and leaving a huge plume of black smoke from every stoplight. I’ve been talking to edge for the last two days, so far they want me to send back my malfunctioning unit and they want to send me out another new unit. I wasn’t pleased they said they would not refund my money, also it sounded like they were reluctant to try to send me another box because the last one had the same problem!! They also wanted to try and tell me that they have never heard of a unit failing at that it must be my truck causing the malfunction. My truck isn’t throwing any codes, no check eng light. And aside from the absence of the extra power, it has ran smoother, quieter and not smoked at all today with the unit completely removed. I am not buying that it is my truck! The edge/ Juice Attitude was my only performance modification aside from a basic K&N FIPK intake. Anyway, I will send it off Friday, and see what happens. If this issue doesn’t get resolved or if they don’t refund my money they are going to wish they did not know what I do for a living. I have no problem honoring due process, trial and error, giving them a chance to fix the issue. But all of these complaints and issues clearly tells me there is a glitch or a defect in their product.
