My First Blackstone Report

My first oil analysis. I changed the factory fill at 3K. Used Amsoil 5w40 (CJ) and Fleetguard 9028. Oil had 7k miles (not 6k, brain fart) on it. No makeup oil added.

Truck has mostly highway miles and occasionally towing my 23ft boat which weighs in around 6k lbs wet with the trailer.

Air filter was from the factory. I did change it out since it was looking kind of dirty and I had one on hand. Clean side of the filter was very clean, so i agree that the Silicon level is probably nothing to worry about.

looks good to Me, generally cooper is High on 1st drop no so on yours.

10k air filter changes will get expensive fast. RAM says to not exceed 30k miles between air filter changes.

I just keep it simple, change oil and filter, fuel filters and air filter at 15K.
