Well finally did my 1st Aisin service. Watched lots of videos and read lots of articles. It took me about 3 hrs which seems like alot but one bolt snapped , had to drill it out and tap it.
Discovered a couple of tricks that worked for me and thought I'de share. These only apply to the back 4 bolts. First cut a 10mm socket off so that it is the same depth as the head of the bolt. Second when you put the pan up only put a couple of bolts up front and leave very loose. Then put the back 4 in loosely , this gives you some wiggle room.
It can be done in a driveway and not real messy. Got the check engine light took it for a drive .Stopped and restarted truck and on the 3rd restart light went out.
Its an easy job with 4 bolts from hell. Works great so $ 300 in my pocket.
