She messages me as she leaves school "Why don't you call in a pizza and I will pick it up. " This is from a pizza place 1/4 mile away, on the way home from her school.



I message back "Ok, sounds great" (I LOVE pizza). With our crappy reception here, she doesn't receive it...



So I call, then she calls and I hang up with the pizza place. She asks if that's what I wanted since she didn't hear from me. I told her the message didn't go through.



I said yes, and "Where are you now?"



Her "I'm at Parry's Pizza, you took so long to get back to me and I'm here, are you going to call?"



Me "Ok, so why don't you just go in and order it!?"



Her "'Cause it's warm in the truck and I would rather wait out in the parking lot. "



What a dork...



She agreed to just go in and order and wait inside...



I love her but sheesh!

Ah ha! Women don't lose their minds because they've been giving their husbands a piece of it for years. They lose their minds because gestation and birth lay waste to 8% of their brains every time! But she can still shop for household supplies, keep house, cook, mend, rear children and love husband-dear. And work.



So what excuse do we men have? ... Ah, I know. It's corporate management. The first thing we hear when we start a new job is a loud sucking noise, as management vacuums out our brains so we'll be docile slaves to the company line.

They work two hours in the AM and two hours in the PM. HELLO!!



The call in and say the bus is stuck in the drive way of their home cuz nobody from the school showed up to shovel the snow... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...



The engine is overheating cuz nobody from the school will remove the winter front from the bus when it's 40°F... ... ... ... ... ... .....
