Do the sport conversion! My old lights were fine but the sports make a huge difference.



The PIAA's look nice. Much better bulb than a "Super Blaster 9000" or some other such junk.

I would highly recommend the sport conversion as well. A little more coin for sure, but the difference makes it entirely worth while. I can't believe I waited as long as I did to do it!

I cleaned my old ones up with some plastic polish and they are clear again. just FYI Also mine already is a sport.

Hammer, I would also strongly suggest the sport light conversion, I did it also after doing everything else, nice system that works great.



if you want to try the second clear lenses in your link be warned they dont have adjusters and will require some shims behind the screws to get them aimed right..... I bought a set from ebay, nice light but without adjusters a pita, if you want to play with them $50 for ther pair they were in the truck for one day and are perfect new cond.

just to refresh this topic my 2002 I guess is pretty much plug in and thats it. I guess a wiring harness is needed. but heard the 02 was easier process

Replaced my cloudy lights a few years ago with sport lights. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. Get the adjustable lights and wiring harness from SUV. It's just plug and play then. You also do not have to cut larger hole cause your truck already has them behind your existing light. Just my 2 cents! Tom

Here's a link. A bit expensive, but worth it to me. Especially since it lights up all 4 bulbs in both low and high beam mode.

From '98 to '02 there is no cutting required as that is when Dodge offered the sport headlights as an option.

I am doing this upgrade. . Now with it getting dark so soon I really notice it needs attention. At dusk I can hardly tell my lights are on
