That's the second pneumatic ram cylinder I've seen. Your use of air is the first I've seen to split wood. With a few helpers and an adequate air supply you could turn out the cords.
Nice set up. Is that an oil-less compressor I hear?

Yea i had not ever seen a log splitter that used a pneumatic cylinder either so I thought I would give it a try. It works pretty fast as long as you can supply the air. I went through a truck load of wood that was stacked over the cab, in about 2 and 1/2 hours. A lot quicker then hand. You must have a good ear it is the oil-less type.
