Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) My Horsepower

I found a download that tells horsepower with weight and speed in the 1/8 or 1/4 mile. I am around 607 horsepower which seems kinda high. Is this very accurate? Here is the website if interested. http://www.virtualengine2000.com/Google.htm

Using the ET/Speed formula to estimate HP gives a credible 425+ HP for my rig turning 14. 70 @ 94mph

What do ya do? ET to power calculations entail a huge pile of variables and dynamometers vary from one to the other.



It's easy for me. I only have two "tuning" dynos to choose from, and I'm going to keep running on the one I've been using.



Now I just take my dyno HP and scaled weight and calculate my ET. No need to go to the track.



And then you have the G-tech!



It's all fun, so we'll have to keep guessing as to the REAL ABSOLUTE number.



Of course I'm waiting for the temps to go sub 30F, and I'll pop over to the dyno for a personal RECORD run.

I go from 607 hp on one calculater to 505 on another using 95 mph and 7550 on the weight. GEEZE
