My leather seat got pimples

When I had it parked in the heat on vacation a couple weeks ago (it stays in the Garage most of the summer), one area about 2" around got about 10 little "pimples" in the leather. Its right where your butt will wear this into a mess in a couple years.



so I take it to the dealer and the service manager comes out to look at it. he said "we have to sent this back to Dodge to see if they will let us fix it".



What the heck?



anyway, they were ordering a new seat bottom cover for the passenger side.

Don't feel too bad. I have an 05 SLT with the Premium Cloth. My wife's (who is 5'9" and 125lbs) seat has the stitching undone at one of the seams. The dealership told me Friday that DC will not warranty the repair, and if I feel that it wasn't the answer I was looking for, to call DC directly.
