Competition Question to anyone who has fabbed up a set of ladder bars

Off Roading Tuff Country 4.5" lift

Pulled down in Salem, Indiana this weekend.

I was the only person in my "Diesel Stock" class.

Next up behind me was the Duramax God Tomac in the Diesel street class.

No changes to the sled.

Well he pulled a 261',and to nay sayers he came back and pulled another 261' on his second hook in that same class (dropped his first).

I did 258'

Not bad for a stock injector'ed Cummins CR that isnt supposed to be able to pull!!

His turbo is A lot bigger and he has aftermarket nozzles.

Hmm...

Good job Bean Pole... ... . wish I could have been there to see it..... throw that on the tail end of my tape which I haven't gotten yet  :p :-laf

DEJA VU!!! Seems I've heard the "he had a big turbo, injectors, pump, cam, etc, and I was stock!" before.

Hmmm... I wonder where I'd heard that before, and which brand of kettle was calling the other brand of pot black?

PS - CONGRATS!!! Oo. You pulled further than all the "armchair commandos" who talk the talk, but have walking issues. Very impressive for a CR with an untouched injectors and internals.

Would be fun to have a Street Stock class which required no internals and stock turbo. Tuning only.

I think Justin could have been a little closer but he let out of it a little early but I guess I cant blame him it being the first run of the year, and it didnt even smoke.

Yeah TST and BDDL stacked and a hint of TS Ramifier... .

How do you run 3 boxes? The TST does your duration and timing, i thought the BDDL did the same things as the TST. Is the TS Pressure?

Unplug your TST's 2 harness connections at the box.

Then flash the 90hp setting from the BDDL into the truck.

I usually run around town with the TST on 0 or level 2x5.

The TS Ramifier is usually off, but I use about 25% of it when I pull, along with the TST being on 5x5.

There is a noticable power difference with the TST and BDDL stacked together.

Once you do it, you wont want to go back!

Drivability and down low fuel is right there when you want it!

Wouldnt that mess up the timing? Suppose you put the TST on 9+9 and the BDDL on, is there a more agressive setting for the BDDL and if so why isnt it used? With the TS why dont you use 100%? It wont effect your other adjustements will it?
